Over 4.3 million people in Mali need humanitarian aid. With significant progress in military efforts to re-assert Malian control in the centre and north, humanitarian access is improving. Domestic UNHAS flights have resumed, and localized assessments are underway in newly accessible areas. Relief operations – previously reduced due to insecurity – are projected to gather strength in the coming weeks, but conditions remain volatile.
