Zone to construct over 17 mln. Birr water facilities

Nekemte November 04/2012 East Wollega Zone Water and Mine Energy Office said it has planned to construct water facilities in this Ethiopian budget year at a cost of more than 17 million Birr. Office head Amanuel Temesgen told ENA that the facilities include the construction of sink, medium wells and spring development. He said renovation of water facilities would also be carried out in the reported period. The head said the facilities would benefit more than 188, 000 people and also increase the water coverage to 82 percent when they going fully operational.
